Catch the Goldfish is an essay on the origin of ideas and the creativity that the American filmmaker applies to his personal universe. The starting point of the book is meditation, something that he has been passionate about for years and whose practice has marked his creative process. It is also a compendium of thoughts that seeks to encourage creativity and in which David Lynch advocates letting intuition work, while revealing, in an agile and entertaining way, details about his career, his movies, Hollywood... linking themes and launching ideas about music, painting or cinema. Those ideas that, according to him, are like fish chasing the bait of desire.
