Atlántida

The story of Atlantis remains for many wrapped in the mists of fantasy, banished to the field of literature or, at best, reduced to the category of legitimizing fable of various romantic theories. This book is the result of an investigation carried out on the frontier of the paradigm currently in force in the historical sciences, in which, using a scientific methodology and after embarking on a journey through the fate of the Platonic story about Atlantis over twenty-five centuries, the author invites us to immerse ourselves in the exciting task of discerning what is legend and what is historical reality in what Plato refers to us. For this, he proposes a return to the text of the Greek thinker and a contrasting of it with objective geohistorical and cultural facts. As a result of this extraordinary investigation, we discover in a rational way, hidden behind the veil of myth, the existence of a civilization in the West that, from its epicenter in the Gulf of Cádiz, extended its influence along the European and North African Atlantic coasts, reaching islands in the ocean. and even territories of the American continent to the west and reaching the island of Crete to the east.
