Artistas contra el individualismo
colectivos artísticos de Europa occidental (1956-1969)
Galimberti, Jacopo
During the late fifties and throughout the sixties of the 20th century, various collective movements, teams and groups were at the forefront of the development of the plastic arts as opposed to individualism traditionally proclaimed as the artist's own trait. Jacopo Galimberti analyzes his activity and puts it in relation to the European political situation at the time. Collectives such as the Situationist International, N, GRAV, Spur, Geflescht, Kommune were decisive in this panorama. With them, the Spaniards Equipo 57, Equipo Crónica and Equipo Realidad, which, with the work of Eduardo Arroyo in those years, constitutes one of the central themes of the book.
