Arroz urez

This literary session tells the story of the creation and end of Euskadi Ta Askatasuna; or, at least, one creation and one end, linked to the life of the author. Through an introspective exercise, Mikel Antza begins this personal writing with Txabi Etxebarrieta and ends with Aunt Luzi; in the meantime, eleven other significant, echoing, or unknown names make their place in the history of our people. The Burgos Case is the guiding thread that connects the ends of the beginning and the end, as the author has interviewed some of the defendants over the course of half a century, and their testimonies have been sewn together to form the backdrop of the narrative. And, written in rice water lines, the ones that have had to be kept invisible in our town will be revealed.
