Arabia feliz

"Happy Arabia" (Arabia Felix) is the name that the Romans gave to the territory that occupies modern-day Yemen. This unclassifiable book describes the life experience of the author, a career diplomat, after having lived four years (2008-2012) in a unique country. Thanks to his story, eminently autobiographical, substantially anecdotal, the reader is transported through the author's life journey to the landscape, people and activities of a place as remote on the map as in the collective imagination. An unknown and fascinating country like few others, presented with passages full of the poetry that only a place called "Happy Arabia" could suggest.
