Antología de cuentos de terror

Vampires, ghosts, grotesque murders, indescribable monsters and various supernatural events are some of the ingredients of the varied thematic expression of the horror tale. However, we could consider that they all have one thing in common: they make us tremble with fear. In this anthology, we intend to bring together the stories that we consider to be the most emblematic of the masters of classic horror and some other authors who may not have had the recognition they deserve, but who, without a doubt, should be known. The stories chosen for this volume are: "The Tell-Tale Heart", by Edgar Allan Poe; "The Pickman Model" by H.P. Lovecraft; "The Ghost of Mrs. Crowl," by Sheridan Le Fanu; "The burial of the rats", by Bram Stoker; "Because blood is life", by Francis Marion Crawford; "The Horla", by Guy de Maupassant; "The Feather Pillow", by Horacio Quiroga; "The Phantom Rental" by Henry James; "Master Leonhard", by Gustav Meyrink; "The Voice in the Night" by William Hope Hodgson; "Young Goodman Brown" by Nathaniel Hawthorne; "The Reputation Fixer" by Robert W. Chambers; "Whistle and I'll Come" by M.R. James; "Kerfol" by Edith Wharton; "The Sandman" by E.T.A. Hoffmann; and finally, "The tall woman", by Pedro Antonio de Alarcón.
