While the phenomenon of freestyle (or improvised rap) spread at breakneck speed through all the parks in the country, Bruno Pol Feliu García (better known as Kapo 013) was a strange, chubby boy full of insecurities that he soon found in the universe rapper of street battles a first space of comfort in which to feel part of a movement. Today that movement is a powerful industry, the passion of millions of Spanish-speakers around the world that, beyond the dialectical wars that are waged on stage, has managed to establish itself as an art full of love. A love that in the eyes of Bruno - who, at 30 years old, can be considered one of the most exceptional witnesses and narrators of the scene - has little to do with affection or physical contact, but with sharing time and place in explosions of passionate energy together with other people. And it is that, although it may seem otherwise, freestyle is about that, serving as a vehicle of love, as much as it also creates fear, it leads to hatred and, therefore, to pain.
