Als estatges de la mort
Sachs, Nelly
Conceived since 1943 and published in 1947, this book is one of the most impressive and disturbing calls ever written so that the ravages of Xoa are not forgotten. Sachs opens a poetic way to give voice to the dead so that they remind us, without subterfuge, of the horrors of the concentration camps (the collection begins precisely with a striking invocation of "the chimneys"), the loved ones who already they are not there, the destinies of so many anonymous people truncated by stump-rel or the collectives undone by the disaster. And it achieves that the stages of death continue to be present within us so that, together, we curse so that they do not exist again.
