Almugávares

This is not a story for boys or girls, or for childish adults. In the middle of the Middle Ages, the Almugávares never had any other alternative to survive than through violence. From bandits in the Pyrenees they became lords of Greece. Stateless people walking between kingdoms, empires and duchies, they all requested their help and they all ended up abandoning them. Their crimes were of indescribable cruelty and today unjustifiable, but they were nothing more than the fruit of the ruthless world in which they lived; a world where bread, religion and power were kneaded with blood.
