Alma de barro

In reading "Alma de barro. Relatos da Ribeira Sacra", I had the impression that I was holding in my hands a book of impressive value. The language is splendid. Rarely have I read a Galician so pure, so perfect. A work worthy of becoming a classic in Galician. A work that could not remain hidden, that has to come to light. It is a priceless tribute to the land, the beautiful landscapes of the Ribeira Sacra, but also to human work, the recovery of the work of ancestors and especially the language. The language in which they expressed their hopes, their uneasiness, their idea of death and life. (Signed: Basilio Losada).
