Munro, Alice
Once again, Munro reveals herself as that "extraordinary, admirable, top-notch writer" (Javier Marías, El Mundo) in this unpublished book of stories for readers in Spanish. Some stories that "have the same density and scope of the novel. I've tried to find out how she does it, -Julian Barnes recalled in The New Yorker-, but I haven't succeeded, and I'm glad that failure because no one can and should write like the magnificent Alice Munro. This "wonderful writer" (Joyce Carol Oates), whose "work was already revolutionary when I discovered it, and continues to be so now" (Jhumpa Lahiri), here again astonishes us with her peculiar dissection of human nature.
