Alejandro Valverde
la leyenda del imbatido
Rivas, Jon
When Miguel Indurain broke in at the beginning of the nineties of the last century, Spanish cycling was transformed. The Navarrese became the mirror in which later generations looked at themselves. Valverde was one of the consequences of that radical change that led to the appearance of cyclists capable of standing up to the traditional European cycling scenarios. But Valverde is a different runner, a natural talent that manifested itself from a very young age, when they began to call him the Unbeaten, because nobody was capable of winning a race in the lower categories.
