Al-Andalus y la Cruz

This book has been written to make known the reality of the life of Christians in al-Andalus, that is, of the vast majority of the population for three hundred years and a still very significant minority for another hundred more. A reality that unfortunately has little to do with the reverie and self-serving falsifications that for many years have nurtured the imagination of Westerners about what that time was like, that society and the civilization that they generated. A myth built at the cost of historical truth and in the shadow of the crisis of values that made possible the emergence of Spain as an alternative project to what, precisely, al-Andalus supposed.
