A mí no me pasa nada

Mental Health professionals find it difficult to treat some serious borderline adolescents, who say that nothing is wrong with them. By studying how they structured their identity during childhood, we were able to observe that their mental evolutionary process had serious difficulties at the time of development, since it was blocked in childhood stages. And when they reach adolescence they still have a childish mentality. They are not aware of their actions or the consequences. They function like children and do not accept to be helped. We have also verified that these adolescents had grown up in family organizations with narcissistic or unstructured characteristics, which did not know how to help their children grow up under parental functions. There was a poor functioning of these parental functions. We propose a new treatment model inspired by parental functions to solve the mental block that the adolescent suffers and thus be able to start with him an individual psychotherapy focused on transference, whenever possible. Finally, we present an example of treatment.
