A la recerca de la dona moderna
Murià, Anna
Cabré, María Ángeles
(ed.)
"The woman has to build her dreams, if they want them to last, on a real basis. Because the illusions must have them, of course, and therefore the clash will be there anyway; but it must be prepared to attenuate it, resist it, recover of the small crises that will cause defending and avoiding greater evils ". Anna Murià (1904-2002) was a radical author rich in styles and records. The articulation in publications such as The Catalan Woman, La Nau, La Rambla and L'Efió can consider the first cradle of his writing, and is a very interesting testimony of the 1920s and 1930s in the city of Barcelona. It shows an era of great hope for women's rights, conflict and debate between the different concepts of feminism and the great vigor of Catalan literary journalism. A thematic choice that shows the evolution of a writer under construction with a commemorative appendix in which the author gives a generous review of her travel companions.
