Audrey Rose Wadsworth and Thomas Cresswell have landed in the United States, a wild and fearless land compared to the elegant streets of London. Although, like London, the city of Chicago hides its darkest secrets very well. When they go to the World's Fair, a unique event, they start coming across reports of missing persons and unsolved murders. Audrey and Thomas begin their investigations, which lead them to a serial killer unlike any they have ever seen before. Identifying him is one thing, capturing him is another, especially within the Murder Hotel, which he built as his terrifying torture den.
