Urban legends are also part of the rich oral tradition that gave rise to literature. Today they are developed in a modern context and transmitted through new technologies, but at the same time they have a lot of history. Starting from the structure and spirit of urban legends, Fran Alonso rewrites them from the present in "The curve of the ghost", without renouncing fear and mystery as the driving force of the narrative. Through them, he addresses topics such as alcohol consumption, machismo, forest fires, school bullying, truth and lies, relationships in adolescence, social networks, difference, exclusion, post-truth or the role of literature.
