A Bàrcino

Roca, M. Carme

At almost twenty-five, Minicia suffers from the rejection of her father, Luci Minici Natal Quadroni Ver. The reason: when he was very young, Minicia had been a lover of Theseus, the man who mortified the life of the noble Minici and who, precisely, died fighting against him. To the affront is added a great secret that will mark her forever. Bewildered and hurt, however, she will continue with her life: her passion for chariot racing and writing, her friendship with Emperor Marcus Aurelius and Empress Faustina, her curious relationship with her husband Cneus, the complicity with his slave Erasmus, the passionate understanding with the centurion Luci Cecili Optat. At the same time, the Twin will try to regain her father's esteem and find the person in charge of fulfilling a revenge, which affects not only her and her family, but the whole empire.
