The discovery of a territory can begin in many ways. The Pyrenees, despite the prominence of its mountains, is not an exception either. This book makes a quiet proposal to discover it: a selection of fifty easy ascents through the linguistically Catalan Pyrenees -with the exception of the Aran- that is, the sector that goes from the Mediterranean coast to the massif of Posets, between the valleys of Benasc and Chistau. Avoiding thematic propositions and adrenaline sensations, the book suggests a placid alternative: the pleasure of carrying out ascents without technical difficulties, without climbs or exposed steps, only, if necessary, with some simple climbing.
