At the crossroads of the 1970s and 1980s, a generation was at the forefront of the transition to democracy: the birth of feminism, environmentalism, pacifism, and sexual freedom, as well as cultural phenomena such as counterculture, new journalism, la movida, or la underground culture, among others. In this authentic cultural revolution, the cinema played a fundamental role in opening the minds of those who received basic education during the dictatorship. Come and look is the story of the León University Cinema Club -the first student activity of the Leonese university- and of the generation that launched this and many other activities. That generation that put León at the forefront was also the one that "stole" the future from young people who today live at a crossroads, that of the turn of the century, which confronts them with even greater challenges and it is pertinent to rescue for them those years in which that the response to the strong contradictions of the moment was creativity.
