Vanguardía y crítica de arte en la España de Franco

Paula Barreiro has studied art criticism and avant-garde art in the years 1940-1975-76 from two fundamental perspectives: she carefully and rigorously analyzes the development of art criticism in Spain within the framework of the social and political context, with special attention to the complexity of the problems raised by the nature of this context, and it does so by placing this criticism in the field of international art criticism, with special attention to the Italian one, thus avoiding an otherwise elementary look.
