Cleo spends her days writing about love stories... but none of them are hers. When the editor-in-chief of her dating advice column asks her to "marry herself" on a remote Irish island, Cleo agrees. A solo romantic adventure in an idyllic setting? No problem! However, when she settles into her luxurious cabin, a tall, dark, stubborn American appears, insisting that he is the one who has reserved her little haven. Mack refuses to leave and Cleo doesn't budge either. And when a storm hits them, they have no choice but to take shelter together. At least it will only be one night...
