Laura Codina, a fifty-seven-year-old lawyer, has an exciting professional perspective when she no longer expected it. The possible appointment as a director of a multinational represents, for her, the opportunity to help her daughter financially, who lives in a difficult situation: she is married to another woman but the in-laws do not accept her, and the grandchildren of Laura suffer the consequences. Suddenly, she has to deal with four NGOs, get involved with events that take place in the South American region of Chaco, Paraguay, take charge of who the crowns are, how they live and what problems they have and, finally, take some determinations that you would never have imagined.
