Tot s'ha perdut

Tot s'ha perdut

Gaziel

"Let us not seek, therefore, any absurd explanation for our misfortune, since the only and main one is very clear. The ones to blame for what happens to Catalonia are the Catalans. The parties that represented us, and we who induced them to do so so bad. And that's all. [...] One day we will get out of this black hole into which we fell. But let this clear lesson serve us from now on: we can only succeed in Spain if all Catalans go strongly united, as a unbreakable phalanx, and also solidly embraced with the greatest possible number of Spanish brothers". These words that Gaziel wrote on December 21, 1934 in La Vanguardia still resonate today. Could it be that almost a century later we live with a very vivid feeling that "all is lost"?
