Some of Junji Ito's stories are so vivid that they are forever etched in memory. It would not be difficult to identify with the man who has long dreams, but the appearance that he acquires in the course of the story is most impressive, as is the fat that impregnates the story of Glyceride and that seems to hook the reader as he is reading, the music from A Magnificent Song in the Dark, a chilling example of how sometimes we can't get a song out of our heads, or the images of crushed bodies that appear in A Crushing Story.
