Teatro y artes escénicas en el ámbito hispánico, España siglo XX

The three chapters or "acts" that make up this book (in addition to the epilogue, dedicated to its subsequent reception) represent an extensive tour of the Spanish theater of the 20th century and aim to highlight, with the appropriate perspective, its main milestones, currents and keys, paying special attention to attention to all those aspects that respond to the epistemological heterogeneity that allows the study of theater. By virtue of this plural view, realities that have not always been properly integrated into the historiographic discourse of the genre will be addressed, such as censorship or exile, which so radically affected theatrical study and practice, or the presence and fundamental contribution of women, always trying to respond to the challenge of achieving a totalizing vision of the theatrical event.
