Paris, 1925. The story begins when Hemingway meets Athos, the last musketeer, and they decide to travel to Pamplona for the Sanfermines with other friends of the author of Fiesta. Paris, 1944. The day after the liberation of the city, the writer, now a war correspondent, decides that enough is enough and takes action to definitively end the war. Together with a group of adventurers and resisters, he parachutes over Germany to that end. Cuba, late 1950s. Our celebrated writer is in his twilight, writing his memoirs, recalling his first and second encounters with the seemingly immortal Athos.
