Senso

In an old hotel in southern Italy, a man (who was not invited) and a woman (who did not want to attend) meet by chance during a wedding. Oblivious to a celebration that does not concern them, both will try to take advantage of the evening to get to know each other and make sense of their respective lives, which drift without reference points. Senso is the story, almost a theatrical comedy (not in vain Alfred was born into a family of actors), of two strangers who are instantly attracted, two souls who discover themselves in tune and who need to take stock of their past and take a turn to your future. Alfred, a master when it comes to reflecting the subtlety of human emotions, forces the two protagonists to trace circular routes that make them coincide in a huge park, on an intense night, in suffocating heat. Ephemeral encounters and disagreements during which, at last, their deepest desires will be able to come to light.
