In January 1989, a seven-year-old girl was abducted north of Tokyo. The parents never learned the identity of the kidnapper. Nor did they see her daughter again. Case code name: Six Four. More than a decade later, the police press chief is forced to go back to the event, the stigma of which has not faded over time: the failure of the investigation continues to be a cause for scandal. But the veteran Mikami no longer aspires to solve the crime, he only wants to reach out to the victim's family and contribute in some way to cleaning up the body's reputation.
