After being suspended from Maxton Hall, Ruby is desperate: Oxford and all the dreams that finally seemed to be within her reach are threatened by a very serious blemish on her academic record. The worst thing, however, is that everything seems to point to James as the only person responsible for the matter. However, after a confrontation with him, the two will come to a terrible truth, which will surprise them both. And while James tries to clear Ruby's name at school, James must fight her father and the destiny she has written for him. The road is uphill and obstacles are always around the corner.
