la insólita vida de Jordi Sabate Pi

Jordi Sabater Pi's was an unusual life full of obstacles to achieve a dream, discover exotic places and become a great scientist. Very young and without higher education, he fled from post-war Spain and went to Spanish Guinea. In Africa he ventured into the jungle and learned the indigenous Fang language and culture from them, he closely studied primates and other wildlife and used his detailed drawings as an observation tool. He also crossed paths with an albino gorilla, Snowflake, whom he always considered a media anecdote that overshadowed his valuable scientific discoveries. The scriptwriter Raúl Deamo and the cartoonist Tyto Alba vindicate the figure of the self-taught scientist Sabater Pi and his important legacy. To do this, they use photographs, drawings of the scientist, personal letters and testimonials from relatives, friends and disciples in their narrative to create an exciting documentary comic that recounts the life of one of the greatest primatologists in the world.
