Radicales libres
Beltrán, Rosa
One day, at the end of the seventies, the protagonist opened the door of her house and saw how her mother was leaving on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with her neighbor: an extravagant painter and zodiac card reader. Many years later, she narrates to her daughter the circumstances that led to that departure and also those that preceded it in a story that brings together three generations of women and almost six decades of historical events (from the student movements of 68 to the current pandemic, going through the dictatorships and the fall of the Berlin Wall): a subversive and feminist look at the country and the world during that period. A life out of the ordinary, surprising and moving, but devoid of sentimentality.
