Pug actually

Julie rescued Doug from the kennel and now her biggest dream is to make her human just as happy as he is. Doug is loyal and adores her, two things that cannot be said about Luke, Julie's boyfriend. However, Julie is reluctant to break up with him; she refuses to end up like her neighbor, with a sullen cat for company. This is obviously a prospect that also horrifies Doug, who can't stand cats. Tom, a young vet new to the neighborhood, on the other hand, is perfect for Julie. And everyone can see it except Julie and Tom. But Doug is confident that he will make both of them realize that they are made for each other.
