Puerto escondido
Oruña, María
Oliver, a young Londoner with a peculiar family situation and a sad loss behind him, inherits a colonial house, Villa Marina, on the beach in the Cantabrian town of Suances. During the remodeling works, the sandwiched corpse of a baby is discovered in the basement, accompanied by an object that is completely anachronistic. After this discovery, several murders in different cities of Cantabria begin to take place, in a vertiginous way, which, together with the unusual forensic results of the victims, put in check the Investigation Section of the Civil Guard and Oliver himself, who will initiate a dense personal journey and a race against time to discover the murderer. Where is the perfect hideaway, the untouchable bastion where you can breathe in absolute calm and the abandonment of everything that age, environment and time impose? Where should we go to find that refuge where we treasure, without knowing it, the purest happiness? Only by following the course of the tide is fear avoided.
