Pois eu!

The jury highlighted in "Pois eu!" the quality of dramatic writing, in which puppets are the real protagonists, and the central theme reflects its ability to carry on theatrical fiction through imaginative and effective stage play with conventions and its relationship to both the character it directs and the audience. In a complex but coherent structure, this metatheatrical proposal articulates different plots that, with great rhythmic sense, refer from the fantastic in the echoes of the Arthurian tradition, to a subtle political satire. The inclusion of the issue of gender identity escapes didactics and is integrated into the conflict in a transversal way. It is also worth highlighting, among other aspects, the desire for the medieval language to resonate in some dialogues, those referring to Galician popular culture from different periods and the undeniable sense of humor, both in situations and in retorts.
