Otros nombres para el amor
Soomro, Taymour
At sixteen, Fahad hopes to spend the summer with his mother in London. But his father, Rafik, has other plans: he wants to drag his son to Abad, to the family farm, in the interior of Pakistan. Rafik wants to turn Fahad, a sensitive boy, into a full-fledged man, and teach him all about power, duty and family. To do this, he asks a young man from the area, Ali, for help, hoping that he will be a good example for Fahad. However, over the course of one summer, the attraction between the two boys develops, and Fahad is seduced by the wild nature of the land and its inhabitants: the people who revere and criticize his father; his cousin Mousey, who lives alone with a man he calls his "estate manager"; and, above all, Ali, who threatens to unearth everything that lay hidden. Several decades later, Fahad is living in London when he receives a call from his mother, asking him to return to Abad. His return will force him to face the past.
