Marcos is the captain of the soccer team in his neighborhood, he has grown up between the seams, in a very small apartment in a humble neighborhood, where need lurks in every corner. His father died when he was very young, and his only family is his mother and his grandfather; Mrs. Angelita, his neighbor upstairs, and Carmen and Tao, his best friends. Everyone thinks that he will be a great soccer player like his father, whom he never met. But he has other plans. Will Marcos be able to overcome prejudice and achieve his dream?
