Veronica spends her childhood and adolescence in a neighborhood of Rome along with her eccentric family: an omnipresent mother who lives in permanent anguish, a father full of bizarre obsessions and an older brother, almost perfect, who is the center of all attention. Day by day she will have to overcome situations as embarrassing as they are hilarious and she will discover her imposture as a way to stay sane and deal with the life that has been her lot.
