Twenty years after his previous collection, in the volume Poesía (1974-2001), José Carlos Llop brings together the five books published since then and adds a hitherto unpublished sixth, El árbol de los cormoranes, with which he closes for now his almost half a century of dedication to poetic writing, covering two decades of dedication to poetry by one of the most prestigious contemporary Spanish authors. For the first time, the edition offers translations into Spanish of the poems written in Catalan: the entire book Quartet and the other poems by Llop -also the author of the Spanish versions- written in that language.
