M, el hombre de la providencia
Scurati, Antonio
In 1925, a figure in a black shirt and an arrogant gesture began to occupy all the interstices of Italian public life. Benito Mussolini, once he has become the youngest President of the Council in the history of Italy, prepares for the next step of the fascist project: to merge his name with that of his own country. But the path of authoritarianism is not easy: internal struggles in the party, very tough parliamentary battles, the revolutionary threat, the need to expand territorially, a turbulent personal and palace life, assassination attempts and the new relationship with a young Herr Hitler, each more popular. Everything so that Mussolini, fascism and Italy are one. This process will take shape until, in 1932, a decade of the march on Rome is completed. But there is no time to look back, the future seems to hold bright promise for fascism.
