Los oráculos y la epojé
Morón, Antonio César
This mysterious title, The Oracles and the Epoché, places us before a theme whose relevance will reach the emotional history of our immediate generations. It manages to involve us in a dynamic of human struggle in the face of adversity, whose character is materialized in the different stages of the recent pandemic. COVID is divided into a triple historical sequence that is revealed through figures taken from classical Greek mythology. In an elegant and exquisite mixture of its theme with a completely innovative dramaturgical technique, three monologues appear whose fluidity suggests the possibility of being presented to a reading or spectator audience, adapting their reception to a format that can be both joint and autonomous. During the first monologue, the figure of the god Erebus is used to question the birth and spread of the virus. The second focuses on Prometheus and subjects us to an intense debate around vaccines. And Elpis and Momo are the deities who, in the third, are used to extract the psychological consequences that this common experience has left in our societies.
