Los Beatles

la historia de cada una de sus 211 canciones

Guesdon, Jean-Michel
Margotin, Philippe

On June 6, 1962, the Beatles perform Love Me Do for the first time at Abbey Road studios. It was George Martin, head of the Parlophone label, who organized this audition and who made the decision to hire them several weeks later. Between that piece, which would acquire mythical status, and Let it Be, their last British single, released in March 1970, shortly before the group split, the Beatles recorded 13 original albums and composed more than 200 songs. In the pages of this work, preponderance is given to the testimonies of the Beatles themselves, as well as to the people of their closest environment, in order to bring the reader closer to the truth and away from legends and facts that cannot be verified. Likewise, an important place is given to technical issues, for which the methods and the different instruments and study techniques that were used at the time have been addressed, which will be of interest to connoisseurs, and will help to know a universe exciting to laymen.
