9th century. Hrolf Ragnallson has left his native Norway behind to settle with the rest of his family in distant Erin, where he will become a man, earn his first scars in battle, and awaken love. Converted into a slave who is given the name "Lordemano", Hrolf must survive in this territory of strange culture, in an adventure in which wars, unexpected betrayals and passions impossible
