London, New Year's Eve 1982. It's the 1980s, debauchery and late-night parties are the order of the day. Like every year, the luxurious Flanagans hotel welcomes in the new year, and guests dance and drink under the glow of crystal lamps. The new owners, Elinor and Emma, have fought hand in hand and have made great sacrifices for the hotel, but although they have achieved their goal, the price has been very high.
