Las mujeres de Las Carolinas
Revuelta, Concepción
1935: The Second Republic has brought advances for the professional situation of women throughout the country. But, at the dawn of the Civil War, that is about to change dramatically. At the gates of the war, four young people from different conditions and social strata forge a friendship in the famous Carolina house, in Santander: Gloria and Laura, nurses who feel powerless in the face of physical pain and injustice; Susana, a brave cook who never wanted to stand out, but who will be forced to; and Ana, a law student who will act as a journalist to denounce the abuses against the working class.
