La trastienda de los servicios de inteligencia
San Agustín, Fernando
The back room of the intelligence services is a recount of real events, some of them fictionalized, in which Fernando San Agustín has participated as an Intelligence Agent. The author recounts in first person the operations he has carried out since the mid-1960s, when he finished his military service and was recruited to be an intelligence agent. The protagonist is the same author with different names, according to each operation. He tells how he has participated in different anti-terrorist operations in the fight against ETA, how he tried to convince ETA members without blood crimes to move them away from the armed struggle, create a new identity for them and send them away from Spain. How he infiltrated to get high-level information and avoid attacks. Also how he participated in an operation in the Vatican to clean up the corruption of some cardinals and bishops.
