They instilled in us the greatness of a peaceful and exemplary Transition, but there is an unknown intrahistory full of lies, conspiracies, dirty warfare, corruption and State crimes. The Hidden Transition is a spooky journey through episodes that were never told to us, that explain how and why we got here. Not so democratic, not so honest, not so patriotic. Did you know that the Spanish Transition produced almost 1000 deaths, 3000 violent actions, 6 coup attempts, thousands of imprisoned and hundreds of tortured? Did you know that Juan Carlos I tried to prevent the PSOE from winning the elections by financing the UCD and that his obsession with getting rich appeared very early? And that 23F was devised by the secret services with full knowledge of the monarch? Or that Tejero prevented the "Armed Operation" planned after the takeover of Congress? And that the Suárez government ordered the massive destruction of compromised documents of the regime? Or that the CIA protected the Spanish Transition and that the famous "Blood Lists" -3,000 people who would be assassinated if they succeeded on 23F- were a set up by the PSOE to win the 1982 elections?
