La sombra del laberinto
Paz, Montse de
Androgeus, the young prince of Crete, is assassinated during the Athens Games, sparking an unprecedented diplomatic crisis that threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Aegean Sea. To prevent this, Athens accepts an annual tribute imposed by the kings of Crete: seven maidens and seven young men will be condemned to enter the labyrinth of the fearsome Minotaur. Meanwhile, Princess Ariadne, who has been raised to rule with an iron fist, dreams of a life beyond the confines of the island. When the heroic Theseus, heir to the throne of Athens, goes to Crete to put an end to the blood tribute, the success of his expedition will depend on the lovestruck Ariadne. Will she agree to help him defeat the Minotaur? Will she remain faithful to her royal lineage or will she betray her family to flee in the company of the young Athenian?
