La silueta del olvido
Camps, Joaquín
Inspector Claudia Carreras wants to be a good police officer, and a good person. In that order. But both objectives are unattainable for him because of the desolation he feels after the murder in Madrid of his partner and lover, Tomás. To forget him, he moved to Valencia, where he must investigate the strange kidnapping of Lara Valls, the daughter of a wealthy family. He soon discovers that nothing in this case is what it seems, and little by little he empathizes with Lara: both are addicted to literature, the past and suffering. Three drugs that can be deadly. An intriguing plot, an apparently light but full of winks and depth charges prose, along with characters who live as if they were climbing a waterfall, will prevent the reader from skipping the pages of The silhouette of oblivion.
