La sastrería de Scaramuzzelli
Borao, Guillermo
Shortly before his death, the writer and textile manufacturer Joseph Langhorne finds a way to distract his sick son: reading him stories that are performed outside his bedroom window, the only one with a view of anywhere in the world. However, one of those stories seems to hide a warning, the announcement that one day someone will come who will change everything. Twenty-five years later, William Langhorne believes his father's omen has finally come true when he meets tailor Barros Scaramuzzelli. With his appearance, the town of Tonleystone is exposed to the opening of a tailor shop and the emergence of haute couture, a sudden claim in a rural society whose lives will suddenly be threatened.
